We found the women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live. Those unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – the ones who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.

Today's Outstanding Woman is,

Yvette Giovanni of Waterford

Yvette is a remarkable business owner whose dedication to both her employees and community knows no bounds. Not only does she go above and beyond to ensure her employees have everything they need to succeed, but she also offers personal support when needed—whether it's picking someone up when their car breaks down or helping them in any way she can.

In addition to her business, Yvette runs a dog rescue, where she works tirelessly to rehabilitate dogs and match them with their perfect families. Her compassion extends further with a unique program that helps military members by caring for their pets while they are deployed. The program has grown and now also supports people in rehab or those in difficult situations, ensuring their beloved animals are well cared for.

Yvette's commitment to both animals and people is truly extraordinary, and her impact on the community is profound.
